Don't Miss Live Theatre Productions In Coeur d'Alene

Perhaps you thought our small town of 45,000 people might be too small to have outstanding theatre productions. Think again!

We are proud to have some very famous personalities that sometimes populate the local theatre bill, such as the Travolta sisters, Ellen, Margaret and Ann . They appear in many of the shows that are performed in our Schuler Performing Arts Center. One of the most exciting productions was the "Wizard of Oz" which featured two of the sisters in leading roles...we must say, the magical broom from that set sold at a benefit gala auction for a surprising amount.

We recently had the privilege of attending the 45th anniversary of the Summer Theatre to hear "Over The River and Through The Woods," a reading by Dennis Franz, Ellen Travolta, Jack Bannon, Patti Duke and regional stage stars Dane Stokinger and Jessica Skerritt...what a treat!

Not only do we have the "Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre," but we also have "Lake City Playhouse," which is more of a community theatre. This non-profit theatre has 7 shows per season and also hosts Children's Theatre workshops.
