Always Awesome Antiques Shopping In Coeur d'Alene

American Country Americana Collection

If you have ever visited us at American Country, you know we love antiques. We are a bit eclectic, but we focus on Country Store and Advertising. However, as any dyed in the wool collector will tell you, once you get bit by the antique bug....there is no cure. Here in Coeur d'Alene, we are lucky, as antiques are popular, and there are plenty of stores to browse throughout the region.

We especially enjoy the collectives where merchandise changes on a weekly if not daily basis. One of our favorites is Wiggetts, in downtown Coeur d'Alene. It is the largest, with over 40 vendors. We actually rented a showcase there when we first opened the B&B and sold quite a few of our treasures.
A bit to the North you will find Government Way Antique Mall. Glen is the owner, and he takes great pride in offering a big variety of antiques from the most unusual to things from the 60's era. If you would like to take a  beautiful one hour drive North to Sandpoint, you will find the Marketplace Mall a real treasure trove. Better yet, they are right next door to the most fabulous pies you have ever tasted, The Pie Hut, offering old favorites and others to tickle your taste buds. They also provide a nice lunch menu, so plan to make a day of it!
